Rwenzori

DAY 1
The hike starts at the park gate 1700m through the forested area and crossing river Kyoho and river mahoma. We continue to the resting point half way for packed lunch and continue on the steep area at the panga ridge while spotting some monkeys, birds and chameleons. Our hike ends at nyabitaba camp 2655m. Dinner and sleep in the huts.

DAY 2
Breakfast in the morning and continue to hike through the bamboo vegetation zone to lake mahoma the biggest lake in the rwenzori mountains. Here we’ll be at 3000 m above sea level. Water break and descend back at the camp for hot lunch and continue descending to the gate. Continue to the next destination either fort portal or Kasese/ queen Elizabeth park.
